Revenue Analyst

The Revenue Analyst will be responsible for monitoring revenue performance and performing strategic business analyses in support of corporate goals and objectives. Working with Regional Operations the Revenue Analyst will plan short-term tactical initiatives related to revenue maximization of our property portfolio. The Revenue Analyst will need to remain proactive in implementing business solutions and provide analytical support to internal teams to help meet organizational goals.

Your contributions to the team:

  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of mathematical and statistical models (forecasting techniques, linear and dynamic optimization, etc.)
  • Research micro- and macroeconomic indicators and analyze their impact on revenue
  • Analyze market trends and conditions
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends
  • Manipulate large data sets, analyze them to draw relevant conclusions and communicate the information efficiently
  • Collaboratively develop pricing strategies in conjunction with Regional Operations in order maximize revenue
  • Analyze reports and statistics to make recommendations for improvement to the Executive
  • Work collaboratively with regional operations to ensure company goals are achieved
  • Manage the development and production of clear and concise daily, weekly and monthly operational and financial reports for a variety of audiences
  • Provide analytical and data interpretations to Regional Operations

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
  • Naturally curious and enjoys creative problem solving
  • Previous experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis strongly desired
  • Ability to assess corporate climate, socio-economic factors, trends, and other criteria
  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of staff, including technical, professional, and senior management.
  • Experienced with MS Office applications (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Power BI)
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas and modelling. Experience with VBA and M not required.
  • Experience with Power BI or SQL considered an asset
  • Must demonstrate flexibility, strong commitment to meeting deadlines, and solid decision-making skills
