On May 10th, the Alberta Regional Office closed down for a few hours so we could participate in the annual Capital City Clean Up Spring kick-off.
The City of Edmonton provided the gloves, garbage bags and pickers so we could clean up the neighbourhood outside of the regional office and Merecroft Gardens. In just a few short hours we were able to collect a fair amount of trash and make a difference! People who drove by were thanking us for our time and effort.
"Our hope was to inspire others to take time out of their busy days to do something kind and meaningful," recalled Lori, a Broadstreet employee who was helping out that morning. "It feels so great to be part of a company that cares about their neighbourhood and supports community involvement," she added.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Capital City Clean Up this year!
