Our team consisted of staff from near, far and all departments coming together to make this move-in enjoyable, timely and perfect! We had our Capitol Projects Team from Manitoba - Darren, Chris and Shawn; our Maintenance team from Alberta - Jason, Leo and Benji; Regional Staff from Alberta - Zeina and Keith; Local staff from both Ridgecrest and Lindgren - David, Gerard and Jayme; and our Home Office team - Jody, Nathon and myself.
The overall consensus from everyone involved was that the move-in day went so smooth, even our tenants thanked us numerous times for all the work our team put in.
Nathon Miller said, "What a day! A big thank you to our BSP team for pulling together and getting all our new tenants at Lindgren moved into their new homes! Our new Maintenance Technician at Lindgren, Gerard Gonzales absolutely killed it and showed amazing leadership at his new site!"
Darren originally thought move-in day was going to be such chaos but in the end he called it coordinated chaos, Jason added that it was our teamwork that really set us apart!
Zeina said, "I felt honoured to be a part of such an exciting day for Broadstreet, even though the day was very busy, meeting all the people moving in and being a part of their happy day made me love what I do." She was able to have the chance to meet an older couple and hear their story about how they would camp during the summer months and live in motels during the winter because they could never find a place to accept their dog, after telling them we are happy to have them and their puppy here and "welcome home," she received a HUGE hug!
"I am so proud of everyone and how we came together so quickly to make the day work," said Keith.
I would like to send out a thank you to everyone involved in this turnover and all their hard work and a special thank you to SPD for all the extra hours put in over the last week. Thanks to Tim for working tirelessly to ensure our tenants had everything in working order when they moved in and to Andy for operating the boom to ensure our tenants all got moved in!
