Paws in Motion is a well-known event that brings local residents and their pets together to check out pet friendly vendors and fun activities.The day also includes a walk around Assiniboine Park! The Broadstreet Winnipeg team was there to hand out giveaways, prizes and entertainment. Everyone who passed by loved the beautifully hand-made "kissing booth" for pictures of them and their pets - it made for some very cute photos!
Paws in Motion was a great success again this year, helping to raise funds for the Winnipeg Humane Society. They are a no kill animal shelter that helps thousands of animals every year to reunite with their owners or find new homes. It is also the longest running humane society in Manitoba and was founded in 1894! Now, a society over 120 years in the making, they have transformed to become one of the most successful and proactive adoption centres in Canada. They provide animal advocacy, veterinary services, and various other animal welfare programs and services.
Broadstreet is glad to have offered its support to such a great cause. We look forward to being there next year!
